Pindara Private Hospital is an acute medical/surgical and maternity hospital serving the north end of the Gold Coast. We have been a leading healthcare provider for this community for 40 years.

The hospital is currently being redeveloped as part of a multiphase strategic plan. Stage 1 has been recently completed adding 50 beds including a fabulous new 13 bed children’s ward, four operating theatres, a dedicated endoscopy unit, a new 13 bed day-oncology unit, 2 additional ICU beds, new Specialist Suites and a much needed multi-story carpark for the benefit of the community.

• As a result we now offer 269 licensed beds, 18 operating theatres, a cardiac catheterisation lab, a 9 bed ICU and a 5 Bed CCU; four delivery suites, supported by a 25 bed maternity unit and a 16 cot special care nursery, and the new specialised 13 bed paediatrics ward; as well as ward accommodation for medical and surgical patients.

Ward accommodation at Pindara is in a combination of private and shared rooms. An extensive room refurbishment plan is currently in progress to ensure all patients enjoy a high standard of comfort.

Pindara Private is conveniently located in the heart of the Gold Coast at Benowa, which is approximately 4 kilometres from Surfers Paradise. The hospital is easily accessible by road and from all the major arterial roads of M1, Gold Coast Highway and Bundall Road. The hospital is also well serviced by public transport.
