Booking into the hospital

Please call the toll free number (1800 813 071) to the patient service centre Monday – Friday (7am to 8pm) to book into the hospital when you are around 14 – 15 weeks pregnant.  This call confirms your doctor’s booking and at the same time all personal and financial details are discussed.  There are no longer any complicated forms to complete.

Please have the following with you when you make this call:

• Health fund name, table and membership number
• Medicare Card
• Expected Date of Delivery
• Credit Card Details*
• Pharmaceutical Benefits Card*
  (*if applicable)

Please be advised that this phone call will take approximately 10 – 20 minutes.  If you are hearing impaired, or speak another language, please arrange for someone to assist you with the call. 

If you wish to attend Antenatal Classes, please ask to book these at this time as well.
